SC Villa continues with ascendency on the table

UPL

At the Fufa technical Centre in Njeru, Owori put away Ronald Ssekiganda’s pass for Villa’s 40th minute 1-0 lead following a beautiful passing move by the Jogoos.

BUL then got an opportunity to level matters from the spot after Villa were reduced to 10 men following a straight red card to Gavin Kizito for a deliberate handball on the goalline.

Ibrahim Kazindula stepped forward to take it on 61 minutes but eventual Pilsner Man of the Match, Jeans Braddy Wokorach, saved it to claim all three points for Villa.

At St Mary’s Kitende, dominant KCCA needed a penalty in injury time by second half substitute, Kizza, to claim their first ever win at St Mary’s after Ashraf Mugume’s shot was handled in the area.
