A total of 100 Brands including small and Medium enterprises shall be honoured at the third edition of the East Africa Brand Quality Awards https://eabrandqualityawards.com/ in partnership with The Chartered Quality Institute and Alconext proudly sponsored by Oracle Academy http://academy.oracle.com to encourage Quality improvements in both manufacturing as well as service sectors in East Africa.
EABQA may be bestowed upon Public and private undertakings, sectors and industries, service and commerce organisations, Government and Semi – Government departments, Trade and professional associations, Educational, Healthcare and Hospitality establishments, organisations and Individual service providers and professionals.
Last year 2022, over 100 brands from the EAC region; Peptang, Indommie, Miadi, Whitestar, Fortune, Velvex, Sumz, Movit, Plascon, Startimes, Tembo Steels, Chint, SGA, Chemicotex, MeTL, Master Beauty Products, ISBAT University, Cureosity Healthy Care and others were honoured with the Prestigious seal of Excellence presided over by Hon, Amelia Kyambadde, Presidential Advisor- Trade.
Hon. Kyambadde said because of the regional integration, all industrialists have access to a market of 380 million population and can easily export to the global markets like to the European Union.” That’s why we continue to emphasize the issue of branding and quality of our products to ensure they meet the global standards,” she added.

The Voting process constitutes 70% Public votes and Judges 30% of the score marks. Judges from Quality Standards Bodies will consider; Economic sustainability, operational effectiveness and technology adoption, progressive leadership and culture, social and Community contribution, commitment and perseverance.
During the Voting process and upon winning, the first three(3) companies and brands from the categories shall be presented a Quality Seal of Excellence and only 100 Brands from East Africa shall be awarded during the awarding ceremony in November, 2023.
All winners of the Quality Seal of Excellence shall have an opportunity to have their brands or products represented to the international markets where they don’t exist through Alconext network. https://alconext.com/.
