A certain DJ faced it rough as fans attacked and vandalized his equipment during a performance by singer Carol Nantongo.
The Tukigale singer stepped on stage and started singing this collaboration with Eddy Yawe. It however seemed like the DJ didn’t have her songs.
And midway through the song, he stopped playing. She asked him what had gone wrong amd told fans that she would stop there since the DJ didn’t have her music.
This was opposed by fans who were just getting started and they decided to take matters into their own hands. They attacked the DJ’s booth in large numbers since there wasn’t enough security.
Carol Nantongo who had the microphone didn’t say anything to stop these unruly fans and just walked on stage as she watched the unfolding incidents.
Quite a couple of items were surely stolen and vandalized by these fans plus a number of injuries. For quite long, calls have been made to out barricades that stop fans from being in close proximity with musicians as they prove a danger.
However this is yet to be done by the Promoters.
