The country was thrown into shock after a policeman shot and killed an Indian businessman in Kampala yesterday.
According to CCTV footage that has been released by Police, this policeman can be seen standing inside a room full of people.
The cameras capture him standing in front of an Indian businessman who was about to fall victim to his gunshots.
The two exchange a few brief words before this Policeman opens fire. As he prepares to shoot one of the bullets almost hit the woman who was in front of him and she narrowly escaped death.
This officer proceeds to shoot the Indian as the others flee out of the room.
Apparently this Indian man had not died and when this officer came back to pick up his papers, he made sure to shoot and kill the Indian finishing him off.
The culprit was identified as Ivan Wabwire while the victim was identified as Uttam Bhandari and the incident at Raja Chambers.
Bhandari was the owner of TFS Financial Services and Wabwire acquired a loan from there in 2020.
Wabwire however paid just 3 installments of the loan and vanished. He had now come to get a quotation from Bhandari so that a certain bank can buy off the loan.
