Minister ster for Karamoja Affairs, Mary Goretti Kitutu, and her brother Naboya Kitutu, have been remanded to Luzira Prison.
They will be their until 12th April, 2023, for corruption following the diversion of iron sheets meant for the Karamoja Community Empowerment Programme.
Mary Goretti Kituntu denied the allegations of stealing iron sheets saying she didn’t have a hand in it like people claim.
She said she will prove her innocence very soon as she will be set free.
