The 2023 Miss Uganda beauty pageant will go down to the wire on Saturday 18th March at UMA multi-purpose hall as a total of 21 contestants stand in line of the journey to the crown.
The Journey to the Crown finals will see a new beauty queen take over the crown from Elizabeth Bagaya the reigning Miss Uganda 2020/2021. It has been a hiatus of crowning another beauty queen in the past two years after global pandemic of COVID 19.
Brenda Nanyonjo the CEO of Miss Uganda Foundation ensured that 2023/2024 beauty queen has to be crowned as she entered into a reality TV show partnership with Makula TV alongside Kezzi entertainment.
Under the theme ‘Beauty beyond looks’, the 2023 beauty pageant has been a reality TV show airing at Startimes channel Makula TV and the grand Final will be aired live on Saturday.
Having walked all their way from the regional tours and the elimination rounds, the 21 contestants look set to battle for the crown after going through a couple of activities which included a talent showcase on the talent night, team bonding as they held a boot camp prior to the finals.
All eyes will be set on hearing-impaired Patience Nashua as the 21 contestants face the judges on Saturday.
The Miss Uganda Crowning night will be hosted by one of the great Mcees of his generation Dr. Ronnie Mich Egwang together with socialite Anita Fabiola with performances from B2C (Kampala Boys), Levixone, Jackie Chandiru and so many artists.
