Singer Edirisa Musuuza also known as Eddy Kenzo is back to performing everywhere in Uganda.
He had been stopped by court after he was reported by events promoter luba events for breaching the contract.
According to Luba events, Eddy Kenzo was very selfish when it came to the Eddy Kenzo festival because it was his idea.
After putting in a lot of money, he was dropped and another person took over something that annoyed him so much.
However after Eddy Kenzo going to court, everything was solved and he is ready to perform again everywhere in Uganda.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Luba Events/Lubuulwa Moses filed miscellaneous Application(1572 of 2022) seeking a temporary injunction against Eddy Kenzo.
He wanted court to ban Eddy Kenzo from performing in any place in Uganda until he performs for him.
Eddy Kenzo was represented by Counsel Kabega Musa and Counsel Faisal Balikurungi of Kabega, Bogezi and Bukenya Advocates and they raised the following objections;
- [ ] There was no resolution authorizing Lubuurwa Moses to institute the suit and this application in on behalf of the company.
- [ ] The prayers sought in the application are vague and untenable.
- [ ] The application in overtaken by events all shows having taken place.
- [ ] It is against public policy and would amount to an unreasonable restraint of trade.
Court upheld all the above objections and dismissed the application with Costs.
Court vacated the earlier interim order issued on 10th November, 2022
Eddy Kenzo is therefore free to perform in any part of Uganda as cleared by court.
Please note: Luba Events deposited 40m to Eddy Kenzo and not 120m as he alleges. The 40m was used in preparations for the events in rehearsals, costuming and other related costs. The total expenditure of Luba Events on this event was 146m as he submitted to court.
When the president locked te country LUBUULWA MOSES was seen on media complaining and holding government accountable for the the canceled festival, government responded and compensated Luba Events a sum of 450m through UNCC and it is on record.
Other details will be heard and judged in the main suit.
